Founder/Head Movement Coach | Coach Woody founded Human Movement on two basic principles. 1) There is always a better way to do things. 2) Everyone person has the desire to Be Better. Through an unorthodox path into health and fitness, Lucas found an uncompromising approach to coaching, and a resolute need to continually ask “Why?”. With this drive, he developed a deep passion for helping others to Be Better.

Mason Nolan

Apprentice Coach | Mason currently attends Purdue University in West Lafayette, IN to obtain a Bachelor of Science in Health & Kinesiology. He has been involved with weight-lifting for four years, and during his time in the gym, has strived to lead others to better themselves. He inspires others through his social media accounts, and has developed workout plans for friends and family to help them Move Better and Be Better. He hopes to continue bettering his ability to serve his clients in the future as a full-time HM Coach. Mason is excited to have the opportunity to be a part of Human Movement and is looking forward to making the Greater Lafayette area Be Better.

Damien Michel

Apprentice Coach | Damien is currently a graduate student studying Health and Kinesiolgy and is also the Graduate Assistant for Fitness Operations & Services for Purdue RecWell. Damien received his Bachelors in Exercise Science and Health Promotion at Florida Atlantic University. Damien aspires to one day open his own gym back home in South Florida geared around personal training and group fitness. When it comes to exercise, Damien's believes exercise is merely a medium for behavior change, and the goal of a trainer or coach is to educate, build trust and relationships, and produce meaningful results, all while having fun.

Theresa Carpenter

Intern Coach | Theresa is currently studying at Purdue University in West Lafayette, IN to obtain a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Applied Exercise & Health. She has been involved in multiple interdependent sports teams since a young age and attributes much of her character development to experiences in sport and exercise. Theresa seeks to assist others in strengthening mental, emotional, and social character and virtue through physical activity involvement. She is blessed with the opportunity to learn from the other coaches and members of Human Movement to work together in building a better community.
